Max, Megan’s younger brother, is missing. He’s been sold to human traffickers in New Orleans by the evil angel Judas. Megan is soon arrested and charged with her missing brother’s murder. The only way to clear her name is to find Max. With the help of Johnny, who is a good angel, and her friends, Megan is soon on the run in a desperate attempt to find and rescue Max.
When Judas offers her an impossible choice— how can Megan choose? The battle continues as lives are threatened and lost, not only by the rising waters of a hurricane, but in a climatic confrontation with Judas, and some will not make it out alive…

Okay, I think I liked this one better than the first. There seems to be more at stake, with Megan's brother missing.
We get a closer look at Judas, and another look at the angel who first told Megan the glowing she was seeing around people marked them as angels or demons. We also see more of Megan's boyfriend.
I think the thing I liked the most about this book is that Megan is portrayed to be more human. She makes mistakes, her faith wavers a bit, and she puts herself at risk for those around her.
You'll need to read the first book if you're going to read this one, or you'll miss out on a lot. As with #1, keep in mind that this series is very Christian.
3.5/5 stars
