    I love Tamora Pierce books but haven't read any since my kids got tired of them (I won't say they outgrew them, but the boys weren't thrilled with a female protagonist anymore). Here's Mine

    I haven't read any of the Beka Cooper books, but I've heard that they're really good! :) But I think any book with a talking cat catches my interest; I definitely need to check the first book out.
