When Taylor meets
Gabriel at college, she is in awe of the subtle glow that surrounds him.
No one else, not even her best friend, seems to notice.
Something about him scares her.
Is all as it appears? While Taylor struggles for answers, she finds
herself in the middle of a century old war centered on one miraculous
revelation: evolution.

This was a fun take on the ever-prevalent angel theme. I enjoyed the twists (these aren't the traditional angels/demons), and the way both sides have honorable "people" fighting for their cause. Not exactly good vs. evil.
I enjoyed that Taylor wasn't the perfect cheerleader clone so many books seem to favor these days. I could totally relate to the bare feet, worn-out jeans and T-shirt vibe. Also liked that she had been taught to be true to herself, and to be strong.
I'm looking forward to the next installment!
